On-site Engine Rebuilds are available throughout the British Isles. In particular Full Rebuilds of Industrial Gas Engines and equipment on-site in dry dock are a specialty of ours.
Scheduled Maintenance
Scheduled planned maintenance is essential if costly major breakdowns are to be avoided. Our specialist factory trained Engineers will carry out a full engine rebuild on site including cylinder heads, pistons, liners, main bearings, turbochargers and coolers.

Marine Engine Rebuilds
Our workshop facilities in Kingston upon Hull are fully equipped to handle all major engine repairs.
KMS perform in-depth checks of your damaged Marine Diesel Engine - We inspect all parts, test using specialist laser alignment tools, perform checks of the main bearing pockets to confirm if a 'line bore' would also be required in order to affect a satisfactory repair.
- All engine components are cleaned calibrated and assessed for further use.
- All spare parts are supplied by Kinston Marine Services and made available for the rebuild after the cylinder block / cylinder heads have been repaired by one of our service partners.
The finished engine repairs and rebuild is shipped back to the customer installed and tested at full load.
